I was thrilled when Kim called me one afternoon and shared with me what she was planning for her wedding in four weeks. Kim was planning an elegant intimate elopement-style wedding celebration on Granville Island for herself, her fiancé and 9 very lucky friends and family. When she asked me to be a part of it, I was so excited and honoured.
The wedding was perfection. So much care and attention went into the details! Kim found the most lovely grove of trees to be married in and with the help of Suzane at Granville Island Florist, we added a little magic by hanging flower garlands in the trees. Guests gathered around to listen as Kim and James exchanged vows and then celebrated the marriage with glasses of champagne and toasts.
Following the ceremony, guests made their way to the DockSide Resteraunt where I had decorated a table for dinner. Kim’s details included Peti Puff favours for all of her guests, a sweet striped table runner and many other delicate additions.
It was a very special celebration to be a part of and I wish Kim and James so much love as they embark on their new adventure!
Thank you to Kim James for the beautiful photos, Jasmine Hoffman for make up magic and Elsa Corsi for Kim’s beautiful wedding jewellery.
xoxo
