On a lovely August day—one that wasn’t too hot or too cold—Karianne said “I do” to Michael in the garden of her childhood home. The lush outdoor space was filled with dahlias that her parents had planted for the occasion, and we couldn’t have asked for a better setting for this intimate garden wedding.
Karianne first reached out to me at the end of 2018 so that I could help her and Michael plan their summer wedding in 2020. They were planning a small garden ceremony and would then host a glamorous reception at the Fairmont Pacific Rim later that evening.
When the pandemic hit, we spent the first few months trying to figure out what it meant and how it would impact the wedding. Despite all the odds and all the uncertainty at the time, we were still able to host a lovely sunlit ceremony in Karianne’s parents’ garden.
Here are some photos from the day—wasn’t Karianne the most beautiful bride?
