Jayne Eyre Inspired Shoot

Happy Halloween everyone. Today I am thrilled to finally be sharing our gothic, yet romantic styled shoot that we produced for Wedluxe a few weeks ago. We drew the inspiration for this shoot from two novels by the Bronte sisters that are very dear to my heart. Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre. Both of these novels were thought to dark and dramatic and were sometimes described as gothic for their time.The dark plum shades and the dreary forest setting are what helped bring their stories to life and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. The small details like bouquets filled with grapes, plums and thistles, along with black stationary, baroque frames and candle lantern are all part of what made this shoot so powerful.
