I have been meaning to share Robyn + Chris’s beautiful wedding with you for ages! Better late than never! Their ceremony was held at Saint Francis of Assisi Parish and the reception followed at the stunning Sutton Place Hotel Vancouver. As Robyn and Chris were getting married on February 14th, we were very aware that we did not want to emphasize that this was a Valentine’s wedding, but rather direct our attention to creating a timeless celebration that was regal, rich in colour, classic in it’s feel, but also filled with warmth and love. We were inspired by a rich colour palette that included deep rich wine colours, contrasted with vibrant purples and pomegranate red and balanced with a creamy backdrop.
Jayna Marie did a stunning job with Robyn’s makeup – she looked so beautiful walking down the aisle! Sweet Thea Cakes made a beautiful cream-coloured cake that complimented the rich colours of this gorgeous wedding. Evan from Flowerz did an incredible job at capturing our vision for the floral centerpieces, on Valentines weekend none the less! And SideOne Band kept the dance floor full all night long.
