You may remember my post last spring about how much I adored working with Gina + Junho on their wedding. From our very first meeting we simply just clicked. Gina and Junho worked incredibly hard, six to sometimes seven days a week, and they didn’t have much spare time to focus on the wedding plans. They trusted me instantly to get them to the wedding day as stress free as possible. Off I went quickly putting together a team of talented people that matched their needs and priorities for the wedding day.

Their June wedding took place on a overcast day at the beautiful Terminal City Club. Gina and her bridesmaids got ready in the Club’s hotel with the help of Junho’s sister who provided make up services and Faye from Mink Make-Up who provided hair services. Gina’s bridesmaid’s bouquets had lots of fluffy pink peonies that complimented the soft pink groomsmen’s boutonnieres.

Guests arrived at the Club for the afternoon wedding ceremony and were greeted by the beautiful sounds of a harp and cello, provided by Musical Occasions, creating a romantic atmosphere. Gina and Junho personalized their wedding ceremony by asking their good friend and minister Don Lee, to perform the marriage ceremony. Minister Lee was able to add in personal antidotes and create a intimate ceremony for them.

Following the ceremony the guests then moved into the reception which was beautified by Flower Factory and Jack and Jill Weddings. The evening was filled with memorable speeches, toasting and lots of food! Junho saved the best for last and just before the first dance, he surprised his bride by singing and playing a song on his guitar that he had written for her. There wasn’t a single dry eye in the room as he finished and asked his bride to dance with him for their first dance. I had goose bumps and had to restock my kleenex. As the reception continued, the guests danced the night away with DJ Hunt and SnapBox photobooth provided endless fun for the guests when they needed a break from the dance floor.

It was a sweet and simple wedding day filled with love and warmth, but after it was all said and done, I had to say that my favorite part of working with Gina and Junho, was getting text + photo message updates from their honeymoon about what a great time they were having. In the entire time I had worked with them, they didn’t have more then a day off a week and I was so happy to see them finally getting sometime to have a much deserved vacation and rest.

Gina +Junho: Thank you for letting me be a part of your wedding plans, it was truly an honor to get to know you both and be a part of this special day. I wish you a life time of happiness together.
