The Sea to Sky corridor has everything from rustic farm venues to luxurious ballrooms and with plenty of activities for your guests to enjoy from spas to helibiking, there is something for everyone. This is an incredible spot to share with guests from out of town if you are considering a bit of a destination wedding. Here is a list of 7 of the best wedding venues in the Sea to Sky Corridor from Squamish, Whistler, all the way to Pemberton!
Our Top 7 Sea to Sky Wedding Venues
1. Audain Art Museum
Photography by Darby Magill
The Audain Art Museum is one of the newest venues in Whistler, opening in 2016. Designed by Patkau Architects, the museum is a piece of art in itself and boasts a collection of the province’s most celebrated artists. As the museum is non-for-profit, hosting an event plays an important role in providing access to and supporting the development of the visual arts.
The museum is able to accommodate events in their Cressey Hall and the exterior. The museums permanent collection will be extending into the Upper Gallery soon, but it may still be available for ceremonies upon request! For more information on this stunning venue, check out their website, here.
2. Fairmont Chateau Whistler
The Fairmont Chateau is located in Whistler and has multiple locations that can be used for hosting an event. For those looking for an outdoor venue, they have the stunning Mountainview Lawn and the Woodland’s Terrace and for those looking for a ballroom, they have the Macdonald Ballroom. With onsite accommodation, activities, and and an amazing team to help you in the planning process, we cannot recommend the Fairmont Chateau more!
3. Nita Lake Lodge

Nita Lake Lodge is another amazing venue located in Whistler. The hotel features wood and stone elements that perfectly compliment the natural beauty that could be your backdrop to your ‘I do’s.’ With options to host your ceremony outside under their porte-cochere that can be seen here and either indoor or outdoor dining, there is flexibility to create your dream wedding. In addition to this, the Lodge boasts a spa and amazing dining at Aura Restaurant, Cure Lounge & Patio, and Fix Café.
4. North Arm Farm
North Arm Farm is a working farm that is located in Pemberton with unbeatable views of Mount Currie. The venue is known as a top location for ‘long table’ dinners in the field behind the barn but the space is so flexible that the possibilities are almost limitless. When guests arrive, they make their way into a green space that is often used as a ceremony location and, if you see the above photo, you can probably understand why! Apart from the amazing outdoor spaces, there is a rustic barn that opens up onto the grass that can be utilized for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, or simply as a rain plan! We West Coast planners love a venue with a built-in back up weather plan!
5. Riverlands Equestrian Centre

Riverlands Equestrian Center is located north of Pemberton along Pemberton Valley Road. The Derby Field, near its main building is one of our favourite locations for an outdoor wedding. With ample room for a reception tent, activity tents, washroom trailers, and catering tents, we have so much fun customizing the space to fit our clients needs. The above photo shows a wedding that featured a tasting tent for Pemberton Distillery and a kids tent to keep the kiddos having just as much fun as the adults!
The Center also has its Red Barn just a bit further north along the road that is another amazing wedding location. This would be a stunning local for couples that want a bit more rustic country in their wedding aesthetic!
6. Sea to Sky Gondola

Sea to Sky Gondola is located between Shannon Falls and The Chief – one of the largest granite monoliths in the world – along the Sea to Sky Highway in Squamish. This venue has matchless views of Howe Sound and it’s surrounding mountains and is a great option for couples wanting their guests to have a unique West Coast experience.
Unfortunately, the Sea to Sky Gondola was recently a victim of vandalism and is currently closed until the gondola is repaired. We cannot wait to begin hosting celebrations again at this stunning location!
7. Squamish Lil’Wat Cultural Centre
Located in the traditional territories of the Sk̲wx̲wú7mesh Lil̓wat7úl, the Squamish Lil’Wat Cultural Center is built as a celebration and a way to share the Squamish and Lil’Wat cultural knowledge ‘to inspire understanding and respect amongst all people.’ The building is designed to represent the longhouses of the Squamish people and Istken (traditional earthen pit house) of the Lil’wat people. The centre is a unique venue that pays homage to the importance of place and togetherness and has multiple halls to suit your event needs. In addition to the stunning space, the centre offers rentals and catering and, their team is so amazing to work with!
There is so much variety in venues along the Sea to Sky Corridor, we can’t get enough and always love working there and showcasing BC’s natural beauty. If you are looking for an outdoor wedding venue in Whistler or Vancouver, you can find our suggestions here.
